There are less than a dozen accommodation facilities on Tioman. These are mostly guesthouses and smaller family-run hotels. However, a few of them are larger sprawling resorts or boutique hotels on private beaches.
Hotels are located in individual villages, which, with the exception of Juara, are closer to the mainland on the western side of the island, where the sea is also considerably calmer.
The cheapest deals need to be compared on multiple portals, as they vary not only in price but especially in availability. Search on booking.com or agoda.com.

Tekek
Although Tekek is the main village on Tioman and offers a sandy beach in the centre of the village, you won't find many accommodation options here. The base is more for the permanent residents and supplies of the island, as the main port, airport and the only ATM on the island are located here. However, there is a resort near Tekek on the south side that is 100% worth mentioning.

Paya
The small village of Paya will offer an idyllic holiday on Tioman. It will offer everything from snorkelling activities on the beautiful coral near Pulau Tumuk to treks to the nearby beaches of Bunot Beach or Genting. Find out more about this place in the Paya guide.

Genting
The first ferry port of call from the mainland is in Genting. This is also where most tourists head, as the relatively large village offers plenty of accommodation options. Easy access leads north to Paya along a marked trail, but also to the boutique hotel Melina. More about Genting.

Mukut
On the south side of the island is the isolated village of Mukut. It's not accessible by anything other than boat and, as a result, you can't expect much tourist or cruise ship traffic here. The two main resorts are 10 minutes by boat from Mukut.
