The most famous snorkeling site is located at the miniature island of Renggis. It is located on the west side of the island right in front of the Berjaya Tioman Resort Hotel.
In our opinion, the local coral is poorer than that found at the nearby remote islet of Pulau Tumuk, but you'll still discover true colourful underwater life here.
How to get to Renggis Island
The easiest way is to stay at the quality 4* Berjaya Tioman Resort, located 350 metres from the local pier.
Another option is a trip around the island. Virtually all snorkelling trip options include a stop at Renggis Island.
